Angry Turkish protesters attacked the Israel consulate in Istanbul on Sunday evening, setting the building on fire as a protest against Israel’s violation of human rights in Gaza.
The angry mob was uncontrollable as they stormed the Israeli building, chanting Free Palestine as they set the building ablaze.
The attack on the Israeli Consulate occurred the day after Israel launched a deadly attack on innocent civilians in Rafah which they described as a tragic mistake and promised to Investigate.
The attack by Israel on Saturday night has also been condemned by the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan who continued to describe the Israeli Prime Minister as the Hitler of the century.
France President Emmanuel Macron also condemned Israel’s action in Rafah, calling for respect for international law and immediate implementation of the ICJ order on Israel’s withdrawal from Rafah.
The attack has raised global concern, with protesters storming the streets of Spain demanding an immediate ceasefire and total withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza.
