The Renewed hope advocates which is a pro-bola Tinubu presidency group, has urged candidates for leadership positions in the 10th national assembly to avoid politics and ethnicity-based campaigns as it is counterproductive.
This was disclosed In a statement by the group’s director-general, Olufemi-daniels Agbaoku who said the plans for the Senate president’s office and house speakership were heading in a negative light because of the deliberate attempt to incorporate religion and ethnic cards into it.
He added that “if we recall, running a Muslim-Muslim presidential ticket was Asiwaju Tinubu’s biggest challenge, but the man held his ground because he knew how much harm religion had done to the fabric of our politics, and god used him to kill the evil in our politics.”
