Sunny Ofehe, the Young Progressives Party’s candidate for governor of Delta State, has voiced his displeasure with the country’s recent elections on February 25 and March 18.
Ovie Omo-Agege of the All Progressives Congress, who received 240,229 votes, was defeated by Sheriff Oborevwori of the People Democratic Party, the state House of Assembly Speaker, who received 360,234 votes for governor.
Ofehe, a Nigerian living abroad who attended the poll, expressed disappointment that those tasked with defending the process failed to do so.
Speaking to reporters on Wednesday in Abuja, the YPP candidate stated that instead of using the petition tribunal, he would take Nigeria before the European Union and other international organizations to ensure penalties.
