Celtics Boston on Monday defeated the Dallas Mavericks at the TD Garden Arena to secure its record 18th championship title.
The victory has brought Celtics Boston in a tie with the Los Angeles Lakers for the most titles in league history after defeating the Mavericks 106-88 in the final to win the title.
Boston claimed the Larry O’Brien Trophy thanks to one of the greatest offenses in NBA history.
The Celtics boasted the best regular-season in the NBA with a historic record of 64-18 putting at the top rank with an offensive rating of 122.2.
The team also claimed second in points per game (120.6) and rebounds per game (46.3), and they hit the most 3-pointers per game (16.5) of any team.
Jaylen Brown was crowned the NBA Finals MVP after adding 21 points and 8 rebounds, while Jayson Tatum led with 31 points, 11 assists, and 8 rebounds.
