Outside of the provision for personnel cost, overhead cost, and internal capital, the senate has approved N451 million for aides to 12 members of the niger delta development commission, NDDC.
The Senate approved the N876 billion for the nddc yesterday, though the NDDC did not provide a breakdown of the funding for aides to board members because the office of the commission chairman would gulp N576 million in the 2023 budget.
The approval was a follow-up to Senator Amos Bulus’ report to the senate committee on Niger Delta affairs, which was presented and considered by the acting chairman (APC, Gombe South).
The administrative cost was N156 million; overhead was N312 million; and internal capital was N108 million.
