North Korea’s Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un has voiced support for President Putin in Russia’s military operation in Ukraine.

In a joint statement on Wednesday, Kim Jong Un informed Putin of North Korea’s stand on the conflict in Ukraine, saying Pyongyang is in full support of Russia’s military operation in Kyiv.
Hailing Putin’s visit to North Korea as another means of enhancing bilateral relations between the two countries to a new era, President Kim reiterated his country’s support for the Russian government amid Western backlash over the crisis in Ukraine.
