The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited disclosed that the organization spends N400 billion to subsidize petrol every month, amounting to about N202 subsidy per liter.
The Group Chief Executive Officer of the NNPCL, Malam Mele Kyari, disclosed that at the subsidy payment at the final cutover ceremony of NNPC and the birth of NNPCL at the corporation’s towers in Abuja on Friday.
Petroleum and its product price are high as much as N350 per liter in many parts of the country.
