A horrific motor accident occurred along the otun-iron-Ekiti road in the Moba local government area of Ekiti state, killing three clerics and a woman.
On Monday, the deceased was reportedly traveling from Ipere-Ekiti to Iro-Ekiti when the bus in which they were traveling was somersaulted.
The police PRO, Ekiti State Command, DSP Sunday Abutu, confirmed the accident.
During the burial process, five other clerics sustained various injuries and were rushed to the federal teaching hospital, ido-ekiti, for care.
When the incident occurred, one of the deceased clerics, who had just been transferred from the Anglican church in ipere-ekiti, was on his way to assume service in his new station in Iro-Ekiti.
