An Israeli power company worker, Shalom Abudi, aged 56, was killed by an anti-tank missile strike originating from across the Lebanese border.
The incident occurred in the Dovev area, approximately half a mile (800 meters) from the Lebanon-Israel frontier, as confirmed by the Israel Electric Corporation.
The attack heightened tensions between Israel and the Iran-backed militia, Hezbollah.
The region has witnessed increased hostilities, particularly between Israel and Hezbollah, following the October 7 attack by Hamas from the Gaza Strip.
