Maj-gen ibrahim ali, the theatre commander of Operation Hadin Kai, reported that they had rescued another Chibok schoolgirl, saratu dauda, who left behind her three children with the insurgents in Sambisa forest in Borno state.
This came just a few days after the Nigerian army captured Esther Marcus and Hauwa Maltha, her two schoolmates, and delivered them to the Borno state government.
Ali said she was rescued by troops on an operation in the Sambisa forest when handing over Saratu to the Borno state commissioner for women’s affairs, zuwaira Gambo, on Monday.
Saratu, 25, was a resident of Umbulala, in Borno state’s Chibok lga, according to him. he’s on serial number ten of the abducted Chibok schoolgirls list.
