In order to win over party members before the primary election, which is set to take place in April, Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello has urged candidates running for governor on the platform of the All Progressives Congress in the state to concentrate on their strong points.
In order to protect the party’s interests and preserve the calm and unity that the ruling party had been known for in the state under his leadership, he issued a warning against divisive tendencies.
This was said by Governor Bello in a statement penned by Kingsley Fanwo, the state’s commissioner for information and communications.
He was specifically responding to the apparent back-and-forth on the alleged suspension of Hon. Murtala Yakubu, a member of the state’s APC National Working Committee.
