There is unrest regarding the prospects of PDP G5 Governors candidates in five states with less than a week until the governorship elections.
Anxiety about expected voting patterns in the states, which were influenced by the results of the presidential and National Assembly elections, is what’s causing the worry.
Following the failure of their governors to support PDP presidential candidate, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, party members are divided on voting for their respective gubernatorial aspirants in the states, which include Oyo, Rivers, Benue, Abia, and Enugu.
There is also a murky quiet around the potential that the All Progressives Congress, or APC, in afflicted areas will back its candidates for governor in the elections rather than returning the favor of the PDP governors in impacted states.
