Health officials in Cameroon reported that they detected Marburg virus cases in the country on the country’s border with Equatorial Guinea. Nevertheless, there is an outbreak of deadly hemorrhagic fever in equatorial guinea in recent weeks.
The World Health Organization(WHO) has sent more contact tracing crews to eastern Equatorial Guinea to try to abort the spread of the virus even though over 9 people are thought to have died from the disease in Equatorial Guinea where there are a further 16 suspected cases.
