The South-West chapter of the Nigeria Union of Pensioners has urged the president-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, to develop policies that will raise the standard of living for its members when he takes office, just a few days before the next president is sworn in.
The NUP urged Tinubu to make sure that the well-being of the retirees is his administration’s top priority.
After their zonal conference, which was attended by the union officers from Osun, Lagos, Ogun, Ekiti, Oyo, and Ondo States, the NUP leadership in the zone appealed to Akure, the capital of Ondo State.
