Garba Musa Maidoki, who is the senator-elect for Kebbi south senatorial district, has condoled with the communities in the state’s Dan-summaru Danko Wasagu local government area, for the recent bandits’ attacks, which killed over 30 people, including five policemen.
Maidoki expressed his deepest condolences to the people and prayed for the souls of the deceased in a tweet on Wednesday.
The policemen were brutally murdered while attempting to protect the civilian population, according to him.
“memorable condolences go to the families of the policemen and civilians who lost loved ones, and may god grant them the strength to bear the pain. My humble self, my family, and all the people of Kebbi South mourn with them in this trying moment.
“We will continue to advise and call the attention of the government to take proactive measures to bring an end to these incessant attacks on our farmers by these barbaric bandits.
“We will assist wherever necessary,” he said.
