Germany has started talking with Poland over the deployment of the Leopard battle tanks to their embattled neighbor after agreeing to send its most advanced weapons into the war zone.
Germany’s defense minister, Boris Pistorius on Wednesday evening shared information about the delivery of Leopard tanks with his polish counterpart Mariusz Blaszczak.
The Polish defense minister said the Polish initiative to support Ukraine with battle tanks is entering the implementation phase.
Poland has indulged in the quick supply of battle tanks to Ukraine and needs them to help recapture her lost territories from Russia.
Though Germany has informed that it would take 3 months for her to deliver the tanks to Ukraine, while also the date for US Abrams tanks to be delivered to Ukraine remains undisclosed.
