Hungarian PM Viktor Orban says that Ukraine conflict will continue until 2030 and as a result, Ukraine will lose a half of its territory.
Viktor Orban says as a result of this prolonged conflict, EU will cease to exit by that time.
According to Viktor Orban, tjhe conflict could have been local but due to intervention of the west, it become global as a result of which EU economy is destroyed.
Viktor Orban is one of the few European leaders who has public opposed western sanctions against Russia citing the negative effects sanctions will have on ordinary people in the union.
Recently EU declared that Hungary was not a democracy and accused the country of corruption and abuse of human rights hence imposing sanctions on the country plus stopping 7.5 billion Euros in funding to the government.
Although the EU cities lack of democracy, corruption and abuse of human rights as a reason for sanctions and stopping giving Hungary covid-19 relief fund, we all know better that Hungary has categorically opposed additional of more sanctions on Russia citing its negative effects on the people of Hungary which angered EU leaders.
As most European leaders and countries submit into EU and US intimidation to support sanctions against Russia at the expense of their countries’ economies, Hungary instead under prime minister Viktor Orban decided to strengthen relations with Russia.
Viktor Orban’s good relations with Putin has helped Hungary avert economic crisis at home unlike in many other European countries where inflation is decades high and industries and factories are shutting down due to high energy prices especially gas.
This has forced EU leaders to react as more countries had started campaigning for the removal of sanctions against Russia since their economies were being affected by high energy prices hence a need to send a strong message that any country opposing EU policies towards Russia will pay a heavy price.
Hungary is not alone as Italy’s coming government will also likely adapt the same policies on Russia like what Hungary is doing. This is why media in both US and EU have started calling incoming Italy government fascists just because it opposes EU and US policies forward Russia.
Before Ukraine conflict, I had warned that EU leaders would destroy not only their economy but also their currency if they allowed US to imitate a conflict in the region between Russia and Ukraine but unfortunately EU leaders chose war and the result is not promising a good future for the continent.
Inflation is very high due to high energy prices, industries and factories are shutting down, small and medium businesses have closed and the euro has lost its value against US dollar which means people in Europe are now poorer than one year ago.
