North Korea says rumors of supplying the Russian Wanger group with rockets and missiles spread by the US are groundless and aimed at justifying its military aid to Ukraine.
Citing the private military group’s alleged weapons dealings with North Korea – something that is prohibited by UN Security Council resolutions, the US designated Wagner as a transactional criminal organization.
The White House provided photographs of Russian rail cars entering North Korea, picking up a load of infantry rockets and missiles, and returning to Russia and claimed it as evidence.
But Kwon Jong Gun, the director general of the North Korean Department of US Affairs rejected the accusations saying that the US was trying to tarnish the image of North Korea by fabricating a non-existent thing which is a grave provocation that can never be allowed and that cannot but trigger its reaction.
He warned the US will face an undesirable result if it persists in spreading the “self-made rumors.
