In an interview that was televised on Friday, US President Joe Biden, who is running for re-election in 2024 at the age of 80, claimed that his experience has given him a wealth of knowledge.
In his first press interview since formally beginning his candidacy last week, he told an MSNBC reporter, “I have a hell of a lot of wisdom and know more than the vast majority of people.”
I have more experience than anyone else who has ever run for government. And I believe I’ve demonstrated my ability to be both honorable and successful, added Biden, a Democrat who would be 86 by the conclusion of a second term.
Except for the occasional joke, Biden has hardly mentioned his age, which many perceive as his biggest disadvantage.
