The ongoing Russia Army-22 trade show has witnessed an unprecedented number of enticing shows, with the famous among them the unveiling of the prototype robotic dog known as the M-81.
The Army Show which is usually celebrated every year has been an avenue for Moscow to showcase their new technology and weapons, but this year took another dimension as they launched a newly entire robotic military dog, a machine carrying a rocket-propelled grenade launcher.
According to a video circulated online, the dog was seen to be moving around the conference center, dressed as a ninja and carrying an RPG-26 rocket launcher, with a strait of positioning for launching and also defense.
The M-81 robotic dog according to its Russian maker, the “Intellect Machine Company” attributed a lot of qualities to the newly launched technology which has garnered people’s attention.
According to a report from the spokesperson for the company in an interview with the RIA news agency said, the robot dog had a lot of exquisite features ranging from fulfilling tasks for both military and civilian purposes.

The dog is useful as a domestic product that can be used as a working machine in emergency zones and help rescuers conduct reconnaissance, find paths through the rubble, or deliver medicine to trapped victims.
The M-81 can also be used in combats, as it’s capable of acting as scouts, conducting precision fire, identifying targets, carrying out patrols, and transporting supplies.
The M-81 robot dog is priced at 1 million rubles ($16,000) online.

M-81 can also be used to target selection, patrolling, security, and additional military use.
M-81 was inspired by the principles of bionics in the animal world.

The robot dog is said to be a miniature version of the US-made machine “Boston Dynamics Spot” which is used by the US military and the NYPD, and also the Chinese-made Go1.
