Tokyo-based Medident has formed a strategic partnership with Web Arabia, an IT company based in Riyadh, by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at integrating Japanese healthcare standards into Saudi Arabia’s healthcare sector. The MoU, led by CEO Dr. Tomita Daisuke, focuses on leveraging advanced medical technologies to improve healthcare management across Saudi hospitals, with a particular emphasis on digital training for healthcare professionals. Key areas of focus will include preventive health measures, elderly care, and public health initiatives.
Web Arabia, part of the Al Sabhan conglomerate, is recognized as one of Saudi Arabia’s leading IT firms, specializing in smart city solutions. The company is a subsidiary of Metscco Heavy Steel Industries, which is involved in major infrastructure projects in the region.
This partnership is expected to play a crucial role in promoting the digital transformation of healthcare in Saudi Arabia, aligning with the ambitious goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
