Cameroon goalie, André Onana escaped been hurt after he was involve in a ghastly motor accident on Tuesday while on his way to the team campus ahead of Cameroon world cup qualifier in Qatar.
The accident happened occurred when the Cameroonian goalkeeper who played for Ajax at club level was travelling from Yaoundé to Douala.
After the incident had occurred, the Cameroon Football Federation revealed that the goalkeeper has rejoined the team in Douala after the incident and he was “fine”.
The Cameroon will play the first leg of their qualifier against Algeria at home in Douala before they will return to Algeria on Tuesday to play the second leg of the qualifier tie.
National broadcaster CRTV released images that the area the incident had happen.
On the image, There was a Range Rover SUV and another vehicle with the front end totally crushed after what appeared to be a collision from the two vehicles involved. Although, it was not clear if the goalie, André Onana, was a driver or passenger in the range rover.
