South Korea’s space ambitions seem to have got set back after its space rocket called Nuri failed to place a dummy satellite into a planned orbit after a successful launch.
Although they have failed on their first try, they will try again according to South Korean President Moon Jae In.
South Korea plans to reach the moon by 2030 with the help of the US.
More than 300 local companies in South Korea are participating in the Nuri program.
If successfully, South Korea will join a number of few countries( space powers) that have the ability to launch its own satellite into orbit
