Biden Leads Trump As Early Vote Surges With 18 Days To Go

Early results revealed former Vice President Joe Biden led a TV ratings contest with President Donald Trump in their competing town hall events, announced on Friday by Hollywood publication Variety, but when final numbers are counted, the result could change.
On Thursday night, Biden attracted more than 12 million viewers on DIS.N ABC of Walt Disney Co, while Trump attracted approximately 10.4 million on CMCSA.O NBC of Comcast Corp, Variety said.
Later on Friday, updated statistics, including the addition of viewership on Comcast-owned cable networks that simulated the Trump incident, were predicted.
Trump lags behind in opinion polls, and recent statistics from his campaign indicate that in the final weeks before the Nov. 3 election, he is still behind in fundraising.
In September, Trump’s campaign and the Republican National Committee raised some 247.8 million dollars, his campaign manager said on Twitter, well behind Biden and the Democratic Party’s $383 million haul.
