Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, has publicly criticized fellow celebrities for not contributing financially to help cover the medical expenses of renowned music video director TG Omori, who is currently battling a serious health issue.
TG Omori recently underwent a kidney transplant surgery in Lagos, which unfortunately was unsuccessful. According to reports, his body rejected the kidney that was donated by one of his brothers.
While celebrities like Davido and Kizz Daniel have shown support for Omori on social media following the failed surgery, none have publicly offered financial assistance to help with his medical bills.
In a video message shared on his social media, Portable expressed his disappointment with the Nigerian entertainment industry, accusing it of displaying “fake love.” He pointed out that while many celebrities, including embattled Napoli striker Victor Osimhen and music executive Don Jazzy, donated money to controversial cross-dresser Bobrisky during his legal troubles, they have yet to show similar generosity towards TG Omori, who is in urgent need.
“TG Omori is suffering from a kidney problem, and celebrities are neither donating money nor a kidney to help him,” Portable said angrily. “But Victor Osimhen and others donated money to Bobrisky, who adds no value. This industry is full of fake love.”
