Pakistan Denounces Deadly Attack on Gaza School
Islamabad has issued a stern condemnation of the Israeli assault on Al-Tabeen School in eastern Gaza, where over 100 civilians tragically lost their lives, and many others were injured. The attack targeted a school crowded with displaced persons during morning prayers.
Attack Deemed a Violation of International Law
The Pakistani Foreign Office described the assault as a horrific, inhuman, and cowardly act, emphasizing that the indiscriminate targeting of civilians and civilian infrastructure is a grave violation of international humanitarian law. The Foreign Office further stated that such actions amount to war crimes.
Call for Global Action Against Israel’s War Crimes
Pakistan urged the international community, particularly the United Nations and Israel’s supporters, to take immediate and decisive steps to halt what it termed as genocide in Gaza. The statement emphasized the need for holding Israel accountable for its actions to protect the people of Gaza.
