The leaders of the Janata Dal-United (JDU) and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and his opponent who’s also the leader of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) Tejashwi Yadav are currently aboard the same flight to Delhi.
The mission of both leaders is said to focus majorly on coalition formulation as political parties in India justle for the control of the center government.
Though Modi-led BJP won the election they didn’t have the majority to form the government as they looked to form a coalition to control the government while the Congress-led INDIA bloc is also aiming to seize power at the top.
The JDU led by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has expressed interest in remaining with the formation of the NDA as an ally of the BJP to form the central government.
Speculation of contact is ongoing as the INDIA bloc alliance also contacted Nitish Kumar who’s known for switching alliances for a coalition but details haven’t been disclosed over the outcome of the discussion.
