Ronaldo recently launched a YouTube channel, “UR. Cristiano,” which quickly set new records. The channel reached 50 million subscribers within a week, breaking 1 million subscribers in just 90 minutes after its first video premiered on August 21.
The channel featured a live counter tracking his approach to the 1-billion mark, fueling excitement among his global fanbase.
Expressing his gratitude, Ronaldo took to X (formerly Twitter), where he has over 100 million followers, to share his joy with fans. “We’ve made history — 1 BILLION followers! This is more than a number; it’s a testament to our shared passion, drive, and love for the game and beyond,” Ronaldo wrote. He thanked his supporters and family, adding, “From the streets of Madeira to the world’s biggest stages, I’ve always played for my family and for you. Now, 1 billion of us stand together.”
