Top Ukraine official to the president tendered their resignation letter, a day after the suspension of another top official for corruption.
Kyrylo Tymoshenko, who serves as the deputy head of Ukraine’s presidential office has requested for the president to relieve him of his service to (the president’s office).
In a message sent to the president, Tymoshenko wrote, “I thank the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy for the trust and the opportunity to do good deeds every day and every minute.”
Tymoshenko who has been recording numbers of civilian casualties since the Russian invasion gave no reason for his resignation.
President Zelenskyy is said to make changes to his government amidst a corruption scandal.
