Russia Defending Itself To Achieve Peace, Lavrov

Russia Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said Russia is fighting to defend its territory in other for them to achieve peace in the future.

Lavrov during an interview on state TV affirmed that Russia will bounce back from the current situation and emerge stronger against the western allies.

Lavrov insists allies are making peace difficult, saying Russia was ready for peace in Ukraine, but to achieve that peace, theyโ€™re prepared to defend themselves against the allies who are bent on destroying them through the proxy war in Ukraine.

Lavrov also said that the country is prepared to have a rousing anniversary events which will surpass the planned events by pro-Ukrainian supporters.

Lavrov said, their representatives have been notified to ensure that, their anniversary gains worldwide attention not only the western planned events.

There will be a general anniversary on February 24, which will mark Russia one year invasion of Ukraine.
