Russia continues to put more pressure on Ukraine following its recently launched attack on some major cities in Ukraine.
The attack comes during the period when Ukraine was meant to celebrate her 31 years of independence from Moscow-dominated Soviet rule, following the Russian hundred-year rule of the country.
Officials reported that dozens of people were injured and at least 22 people died on Wednesday when Russian rocket attacks struck a Ukrainian town and ignited a passenger train.
A report from Russia’s defence ministry had it that, “over 200 Ukrainian troops were killed in the railway station attack in central Ukraine whom they said were en route to the combat zones in the Russian controlled eastern region.”
According to the Russian ministry, they said the attack was a result of a direct hit by an Iskander missile on the military train at the Chaplyne station converging over 200 servicemen of the Ukrainian reserved armed forces, which also destroyed 10 units of military equipment during the attack.
While Russia intensifies its attack on Ukraine, it continued to warn the west of any imminent interference, including the arming and funding of the Ukrainian armies.
Since the early invasion of Ukraine in February, a series of casualties have been recorded on both sides with actual no numbers reported as to the series of devastating nature suffered by both sides.
Following the train attack, President Zelenskyy remain confident of Ukraine’s victory over Russia, and that they are not stopping until they recovered their lost territories back from Moscow’s control.
