Bucha mayor Anatolii Fedoruk on Monday in Washington called for severe punishment for Russia following the heinous atrocities they undertake in the city during their operation.
Mayor Fedoruk said, the Russians believed is vested in winning the war as a way of clearing them off the crimes which they embarked on.
During the interaction Washington thinks tank, Mayor Fedoruk stressed that โThey have never been punished and they have never been brought to the war tribunal.โ
He called for accountable measures against Russia, describing the situation now in the city as a crime scene.
Despite continuous denial from Kremlin about any activities in Bucha, the mayor said, evidence indicated that the effect of Russia in the city is devastating which called for intervention.
โWe will rebuild, but we will not forgive (Russia) for what happened. Those who have given orders, and all those who have done those crimes, must be punished,โ he said.
