Wizkid Returns Home With 'Made in Lagos' Album

LAGOS (Forsige) – Wizkid is home with Made in Lagos, his fourth full-length studio album and he has always known there’s no place like home.

On the 14-track set, with live instrumentation and AfroBeat vibes, the Nigerian superstar pays homage to his birthplace, while taking listeners on an exciting journey across the world.

Nigeria’s own Burna Boy, Terri, Tems, and Tay Iwar, as well as his worldwide friends such as Skepta, Damian Marley, and Ella Mai, are collaborators.

Before the release of the album, he dropped a pair of singles including “No Tension” and the uplifting “Smile” with H.E.R. all in part remains a hit to Made in Lagos.

Wizkid’s first album since Sounds from the Other Side of 2017, in the midst of the protests and police brutality, is dedicated to his beloved home country.

“It has been beautiful to see Nigerians around the world coming together to protest against police brutality,” said Wizkid.

“Unity is key. The youth of Nigeria need our collective voices to continue to shine a spotlight on what is happening inside the country. I want to play my part in this and in the movement for a better Nigeria, a better place to live for ourselves, our families – our communities. We will get through this together. Together we move. #endSARS.” Wizkid says.
