It is confirmed that Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are planning to raise their newborn daughter Daisy Dove in the UK because the singer feels that she has a ‘little English is perfection.’
The songstress, 35, and her fiance, 43, revealed together Wednesday the birth of their first child with a sweet black-and-white picture holding onto the tiny hand of their newborn.
The couple, currently living in Beverly Hills, California, have their sights set on the UK where Orlando, who shares son Flynn, nine, is calling home with model Miranda Kerr.
‘What happens in the November election doesn’t matter, Kate and Orlando are moving to England to raise their little girl,’ a source told US OK!
With Katy born and raised in Santa Barbara, California, Daisy Dove will have a dual passport since Orlando was born in Canterbury, England. However, the source revealed that the ‘hardest’ factor would acquire ‘papers’ for Katy to work in the United Kingdom, which is believed to have facilitated their marriage talks.
The pair, who engaged in February 2019, was spotted earlier this month checking out three huge properties in the super exclusive neighborhood of Montecito, California-around an hour and a half north of Los Angeles.
It comes after the couple has confirmed their baby girl’s birth through Unicef with the pair becoming ambassadors of goodwill.
‘We are floating with love and wonder from our daughter’s safe and healthy birth,’ the couple told UNICEF in a statement.
The Teenage Dream hitmaker had a white daisy visible on her thumbnail in tribute to her baby girl as she kissed Daisy’s hand.
In the quote, the couple said that while they celebrate their daughter’s birth with joy, ‘[they] know [they are] the fortunate ones and not everyone can have as happy a birth experience as [theirs] have been.
‘Communities around the world also experience a shortage of healthcare workers and a pregnant woman or infant dies every eleven seconds, mostly from preventable causes.
‘Since COVID-19 many more newborn lives are at risk due to a greater lack of access to water, soap, vaccines, and disease-preventing medicines. They added that ‘this breaks their hearts as parents to a child, as they empathize with struggling parents now more than ever.’
‘As UNICEF Goodwill Ambassadors, we know there is UNICEF on the ground doing everything it takes to ensure that every expecting mother has access to a qualified health worker and access to quality healthcare.
‘We’ve set up a donation page to mark DDB ‘s birth in honor of the heart we know our daughter already has. ‘By supporting UNICEF, you foster a healthy beginning of life and re-imagine a better world for every child.
We hope your friend will be able to flourish with kindness, “the couple concluded.
Celebrities like Millie Bobby Brown and actor Justin Theroux- the ex-husband of Katy’s BFF Jennifer Aniston have congratulated the pair.
