Elon Musk says Tesla Will Manufacture 20 million Electric Vehicles by 2030

CEO Elon Musk said that before 2030, Tesla plans to manufacture 20 million electric vehicles per year.
Tesla will “probably” produce 20 million electric vehicles a year before 2030, Elon Musk, its CEO, said early Monday morning on Twitter.
Musk said that “consistently excellent execution” would require this.
The estimate is more than fifty times the 365,000 cars produced in 2019. It sold 367,500 vehicles 50 percent more than the previous year.
It produced a record production of almost 105,000 vehicles in the quarter to December 2019. Elon Musk (@elonmusk) The 28th of September, 2020
Musk said that in the next seven years, he projected the electric vehicle industry to generate more than 30 million new vehicles annually. He added that it was “possible, but unlikely, to achieve this within five years.”
Last week, Elon Musk emailed all Tesla employees saying that if workers rallied, the electric vehicle company could report a record quarter for the three months to September.
During the pandemic, customers cut spending on vehicles, and Tesla’s revenues fell 15 percent in the first half of 2020 from the second half of 2019.
In order for Tesla to set a new quarter high, it will need to increase its revenue by more than 20,000 from the previous quarter.
On September 22, Tesla held its much-anticipated “Battery Day”. In order to make manufacturing cheaper and provide more capacity, Musk addressed battery improvements but said on Twitter that these would not enter large-scale production until 2022.
