Meng Wanzhou the Chief Executive for Huawei is free and she heading to China after 3years in Canada

Meng Wanzhou was let go after pleading not guilty to US charges of bank fraud while appearing virtually in New York court.

Meng Wanzhou had spent three years in Canada fighting extradition to the US after the US asked Canada to arrest her on charges of bank fraud.

some news circulating indicate that Meng Wanzhou had reached a deal with the US in order to let her go which will see all charges dropped by December if everything goes as planned.

The arrest of Meng Wanzhou created a rift between Canada and China leading to bad relations between the two countries.

China had warned Canada of consequences if Meng Wanzhou is not freed and the arrest of two Micheals by China is always linked to the arrest of Huawei chief executive and it remains to be seen if they will be deported to Canada very soon.

We are yet to know what Meng Wanzhou and the US agreed on but I think it was a face-saving gesture to show that US law works and the US is still powerful.

China had increased pressure on both Canada and the US to release Meng Wanzhou without any condition because according to China Meng Wanzhou had done nothing wrong and arresting her was an act of kidnap.
