Several Arab officials and activists have condemned the Iranian government’s actions against protesters, that took to the street to protest against the regime’s oppression.
The group on Friday took to Brussels to show their grievances in a meeting organized by Iran’s opposition group, a former Jordanian minister, and other Arab dignitaries to denounce the act.
Former Jordanian minister of religious affairs, Hayel Abdelhafiz Dawoud called upon the entire Arab world for solidarity for Iranian martyrs against their regime saying, “the Iranian authorities consider their people as enemies.”
Syrian human rights activist, Haytham Al Maleh has described the Iranian regime as a fascist regime who are intent on destroying several countries in the region, including his own.
The Arab league attacked Iran’s government saying the regime has ignored plurality and wishes to impose tyranny and totalitarianism under the pretext of religion.
They called upon the EU to designate the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps as a terrorist group, as they served as the main tools used by the Iranian regime.
Following the decision of the US government to designate the guards as a terrorist group, the Arab dignitaries also urged the EU to follow suit.
