Six people have been reported dead in a California shooting that took place early Monday.
The incident took place at the unincorporated Goshen residence east of Visalia. The Security officers disclosed that they responded around 3:30 a.m. after reports of multiple shootings in the area.
Among the casualties of the shooting were a 17-year-old mother and her 6-month-old baby who was killed in the attack.
The County Sheriff’s Office stated that “Actually the report was that an active shooter was in the area because of the number of shots that were being fired.”
Confirming the number of casualties, the County Sheriff disclosed that, two victims were found dead in the street a third was fatally shot in the doorway of the residence, and three more victims were found inside the home.
Sheriff Mike Boudreaux attributed the attack as one perpetuated on a particular family, not random violence.
The Sheriff said, two people are suspected in connection with the attack, disclosing their connection with a narcotics-related gang.
