Barr. Julius Abure, the National Chairman of the Labour Party, has expressed that Nigeria is deserving of a superior form of leadership, unlike the current one he deems as inadequate. He referred to these leaders as the “same characters” who have contributed greatly to the suffering of Nigerians.
In a press release issued on Sunday, the LP Chairman reasserted the party’s stance on the upcoming Presidential Inauguration scheduled to take place in Abuja on Monday.
Abure’s statement read, “It is our firm belief that Nigeria has endured an extended period of anguish and torment, caused by poor leadership that is predominantly comprised of the same political parties, characters, and class.
“Our fellow Nigerians merit an administration that is committed to governing the country for the greater good of all citizens, with integrity, originality, and conscientiousness.”
