Police Inspector General Usman Baba Alkali and the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) Abubakar Salami, a senior advocate of Nigeria (SAN), have reiterated their commitment to the full implementation of the administration of criminal justice act (ACJA) among police officers.
They made their positions known at the start of a two-day workshop on the implementation of the ACA for police prosecutors in Abuja’s north central zone.
Malami, who was represented by Abubakar Ibrahim Baba-doko, said that his office, as a leading player in the justice system, will continue to support stakeholders in ensuring that the reformation of the justice system is consistent with international best practices.
Earlier, the Solicitor-General of the Federation (SGF), Beatrice Jeddy-Agba, admonished the officers that the success of any criminal justice administration depends on the effective implementation by the agencies involved.
