The Nigeria Federal Government has requested that the Process and Industrial Developments case be decided in its favour by the London High Court (P&ID).
The FG is attempting to reverse an arbitration ruling in favour of P&ID in the case with case number CL-2019-000752, which has accrued interest totalling $11 billion.
According to the corporation, it had a contract with Nigeria to construct a gas processing facility in Calabar, Cross River state, but it fell through because the Nigerian government failed to fulfill its obligations.
According to written closing statements, the Nigerian government requested that the court vacate the ruling and charged the company with concealing crucial evidence, bribery, and perjury among other things in order to prevail in the arbitration.
