Before the March 18 gubernatorial and state assembly elections, Alex Otti, the Labour Party’s candidate for governor in Abia State, has urged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to resolve disputes with the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS).
Remember that the electoral umpire came under fire after BVAS failed to deliver a sizable number of real-time election results from polling places during the February 25 presidential election as promised by the Commission in advance.
Otti said he still thinks BVAS is a game-changer in an interview on Thursday when questioned about his chances of winning the Abia governorship election, but he asked INEC to fix the issue with the devices.
