The All Progressives Congress declared on Friday that the discussion around an alleged plot to impose an interim administration on the nation will not interfere with the May 29 transfer of power to Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
The leadership of the ruling party and the Tinubu-Shettima Presidential Campaign Committee both denied reports that their camp had been shaken by the alleged scheme.
There was no need for concern, according to the APC, which added that it had done its part by alerting security officials to the threat.
Felix Morka, the APC’s national publicity secretary, said there was no need to worry as long as the law enforcement officials carried out their duties.
