Notwithstanding concerns for their safety, Brigadier General Yushau Ahmed, the director general of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC says corps members are nonetheless prepared for the governorship and House of Assembly elections on Saturday.
This was said by Ahmed during a Friday night interview on “The 2023 Verdict,” a Channels Television election program.
As some of the corps members were attacked during the general elections on February 25, Brigadier-General Ahmed addressed concerns about their reluctance to return to the voting locations.
He continued by saying that parents were the ones who were most concerned for the safety of the corps members.
