Zikrullah Hassan, the chairman of the national hajj commission of Nigeria (nahcon), has confirmed that the commission will fulfill all of its promises to provide the best services to pilgrims during the 2023 Hajj process.
He spoke in Abuja on Sunday during a brief farewell ceremony for the commission’s advance team in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Sudan crisis, he said, would not impede the inaugural flight scheduled for May 25.
According to a statement issued by Nahcon’s deputy director, of information and publications, Mousa Ubandanwaki, Hassan urged the team to plan and coordinate the reception, accommodation, feeding, transportation, health, and general welfare of pilgrims in the holy land during the hajj period.
