Yesterday, the imo state government denied reports that the governor hope Uzodimma was part of a conspiracy to endorse a senate president for the 10th NASS other than the one chosen by the all progressives congress, APC.
In a statement issued by the commissioner for information and strategy, Mr. Declan Emelumba, the government stated that Uzodimma did not intend to continue opposing the APC’s nomination of asiwaju bola tinubu, the president-elect.
He said that as a loyal party man, the governor would not rebel against the party’s choices, let alone endorse another candidate.
Emelumba said that the author of the story, however, was a mischief-maker who wanted to destroy the governor’s hard-earned reputation. “they all know him,” he said.
